The channels engraved in the two rotating parts are called “logarithmic spirals.” These two channels always intersect at right angles, and a square-shaped hole is formed at their intersection. The goal of this puzzle is to disassemble the helix ring that passes through that hole. The inspiration for this puzzle is morning glory. The puzzle was designed to symbolise a bud blooming. The original concept dates back to 1990, but it has been improved to have a greater degree of difcultation.
In order to fully experience the “fun” and “agony” of solving this puzzle, the solution is not disclosed. Solve the puzzle on your own and feel the suspense and frustration of the game!
